Last month, Phyllis Frye was in New York City as a guest of the New York Law School located in the Tribecca section of Manhattan.

The school was hosting its 40th Annual Wagner Moot Court Competition in the area of labor and employment law.  Her invitation was to be one of five judges for the final round.  For more information and pictures, google "nyls wagner moot court 2016."

I was especially honored to sit amongst a current commisioner of the federal Equal Employment Commission, a New York appellate judge, a sitting federal judge and the law school's dean.  That is tall cotton for a part time traffic court judge.  I learned that I had been especially invited because the issue was transgender employment issues.
